Mate, the base leaf of this blend, is known as a national drink of Brazil and Argentina, where it is used as an energy-boosting drink. The beverage owes its invigorating character to mateine, a caffeine-like compound in the leaves.

How to Brew Hot Tea:

1. Add 1 tbsp (2g) of tea for every 8 oz of hot water to your tea pot with infuser.

3. Steep your tea for 5 min.

Adding milk and sugar not recommended.
